I came to know and appreciate TXS as customer
For many years we have been in touch, in the summer of 2018 I changed sides and now as banker and Covered Bonds executive I am in charge of the fields “markets”, product owner and our Innovation Hub. I am a contact for associations and keep a close connection to my long-time companions in the money and capital market.
After graduation from the professional academy in Mannheim, Germany with a major in economics I started a banking career in 1992 at the treasury of what was then the Deutsche Bau- und Bodenbank AG. Following employments with the Deutsche Handelsbank in Berlin and as treasurer of the HypoVereinsbank daughter SKWB Schoellerbank in Vienna and Salzburg, Austria, in 1999 I switched to the Raiffeisenlandesbank Lower Austria and Vienna as head of treasury/capital markets division. The scope of my responsibilities included asset/liability management, trading sections, sales and research as well as the issuance business and liquidity control. We were able to establish ourselves as a recognized and appreciated Pfandbrief issuer, and in 2012 we could issue the first of the multiple benchmark bonds.
As a frequent speaker at capital market venues and symposiums in Germany and in other countries, I was able to keep close in touch to the market while closely monitoring the development in the banking industry. This helps me to evaluate the chances and risks for us and our customers.
